CAPT Jesse Sowell is giving PJ Smith recognition for having 20/20 eye balls for spotting 4 Torpedo Boats being escorted by 2 Gun Boats and reporting same to the OD who sounded GQ and the shoot was on. Would like to report we got em all except one PT Boat that ran between us and the HMS Jamica. In that situation we could not bring our guns to bear for fear of hitting friendly ships. Must say the Admiral dispatched the HMS Swan (Frigate) Needless to say she could not keep the target in range long enough to get a direct.
